Called "a welcome oasis" by TimeOut, The Bell House is a magnificent two-room music and events venue located in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn. The Main Room boasts 25-foot wooden arched ceilings, a 450-square foot stage, and unobstructed views from any part of the room. Join the partners of Boyd Level for a day of learning about what’s new in the art world and visiting the studios of talented artists who are on the rise. Begin the day with a light continental breakfast at Boyd Level’s Tribeca-based offices and salon space where you will receive a general introduction to the art world and to the kind of art work that you will encounter. From there we shuttle you to one or two galleries which specialize in showing cutting-edge work. Founded in 1977, the Museum was conceived as a center for exhibitions, information, and documentation about living artists whose works did not yet have wide public exposure or critical acceptance. It has a unique history of being founded by a curator—Marcia Tucker—who had neither personal resources nor a collection, just abundant resourcefulness and a passion for living culture. A site of ongoing experimentation and questioning of what an art institution can be in the 21st century, the New Museum continues to look to the future through programming that is open, fearless, and alive. Peoples’ Symphony Concerts mission is to serve the citizens of the New York area who are on a limited income by presenting classical music performances of the highest caliber at affordable ticket prices.

HOW
