Lost in Stars is the downtown-LA based electronic music project of poet and composer Dylan Willoughby '99LAW, in collaboration with Kid Moxie, Alysa Lobo, Darren Burgos and Gaku Murata. Lost in Stars self-titled debut album was released on March 31 with tracks premiering at PopMatters, Insomniac, PureVolume, Earmilk, EdgeTV, and Big Shot. In conjunction with the release, Impose Magazine published an essay by Willoughby about listening to music in the age of streaming. Mute Records artist Maps and Minimal Waves artist Philippe Laurent (Hot Bip) contributed remixes.

The new album has been praised for its “warm musical style and fine pop sense” by PopMatters and its “transformative” power by Big Shot. The Electricity Club dubbed the music an “excellent effort” that should appeal to synthpop fans, while WLUR radio found that it "contains everything, from classic house to grime and synths from other experimental artists like Jamie XX and Glass Candy." The station called it a "highly-recommended adventure.”

The music has been championed by tastemaker radio station KCRW and by the nationally distributed show “Echoes.” It continues to climb the charts on indie radio stations across the country and debuted at #1 on several stations.

The album is available on Apple Music at https://itun.es/us/AsR1ib, Bandcamp at https://lostinstars.bandcamp.com, as well as on other streaming services.
