The candidate should have a BA in Art History or a related field and at least 2 years of working experience. amiliarity of the art market – such as auctions, art fairs, exhibitions and client services – are essential, as well as a strong interest in pre-20th century European Art. The candidate is expected to have outstanding written and communication skills. He or she should be highly organized, attentive to details and efficiently time-manage. A positive and personable demeanor is a must. The candidate should be motived and enjoy growth potential and the considerable independence of contributing to a small venture.

Applications Now Open for the 37th Battery Dance Festival

Established by Battery Dance in 1982, the Battery Dance Festival is New York City’s longest-running free public dance festival. Audiences are traditionally drawn from the large downtown working population and residents, families, tourists, senior citizens and dance fans from the greater NYC metropolitan area. Last year, the Festival drew a combined audience of over 12,000 people.
